When he told us the price for the repainting, I must admit that I was utterly shocked! It was about double my car's paint job cost! Then we went around the car to notice what else was done. Then I noticed his vented hood! It wasn't really a nice design partly because my uncle does not have an imagination, I think. The design was kind of simple and boooooring. Heck, it's a Mercedes anyways. So who cares!

It was done by taking out the original bonnet to cut a hole in it where it is then redesigned with fibre. When I checked, the fibre was quite thick so I suppose that it can last for quite some time, if it ever cracks. I then noticed that the car was on stock rims. He said that he was going to change rims soon. Apparently, he hasn't found one that suited his ride. While looking at the rims, I then noticed the fender of the car. It was vented as well! The vented fender turned out quite nice. Again, this was a fibre job. It was cut then used fibre to design.

Sheesh, I'm going to ask him to sponsor my car's modification next time. He seems to have an unlimited source of cash as he did all this in less than a week before sending it for repainting. And on I go checking out the interior where I noticed that the car had a factory fitted electronic sunroof.

I found it really cool if I had it fitted in my ride but the price of doing so has discouraged me. Then I was thinking, since projector headlamps were such a popular thing to have now, I was wondering whether my uncle fitted it onto his ride, and to my surprise, he had!

It was such an amazing thing that my uncle did know how to and what to modify in his car. I had a feeling that maybe his daughter has been bringing him to places to do all this modification and in the process, taught him on modifying it as well. So as I was thinking of lights, I thought of those LED (Light Emitting Diode) tail lamps. It is such a must have in most cars nowadays as it looks nice while being safer. I walked to the rear of the car and again, minor things like this were fitted in his ride.

It was seriously poisonous (if you know what I mean). I was thinking, if only they had LED tail lamps for the version of my car. Unfortunately, they don't! How sad but somehow, it is a good thing as this means I don't have to spend more unnecessary money on my car! :D
After getting bored of the blue car, I went ahead to see his daughter's car. It was same as before. Nothing has changed about it at all! It was still in the same colour. HOT PINK!

I always thought it was an awful colour to paint your car. By the way, "Koteki Takaeshi" is her "Japanese Name". I do not know why does she even need that name. Maybe she just hates her own name or she just wants to be a Japanese so badly. The front of the car even had her nickname on it. Proving more that she is desperate to be a Japanese.

I don't know and don't really care about that desperation issue of hers. I then went on and noticed something I had not noticed before. The interior of the car showed little signs of pink here and there.

I can say, it isn't as bad as I thought it would look. The steering wheel was also quite sick if you noticed it. When I said sick, I meant it in a good way. I went on to the sides to check out the rims of the car. It was a white one that looked awesome. Probably the best looking part of the whole car but, yeah. The condition of the rims was... Err...

Well, it looked really old and paint seems to be cracking and all. But heck, it's a 17 inch anyways, I always loved 40 profile tyres that compliments it. That's why I myself fitted 17 inch rims together with 40 profile tyres on my ride as well. Then I remembered when I was younger, she brought me in her car and was boasting about her turbo. So I popped the hood to take a look at the engine.

It was sweet with the mushroom like air filter as well as the turbo kit. But overall, it was freaking dirty so I did not want to torture my hands by checking out everything else as it was dark as well. I don't even know if she was using a stock crank pulley. What I know is that she neglected something really important about her car. She is using factory fitted braking system! If I had turbo in my car, I would certainly fit at least a 6-pot caliper with vented slotted drilled disc. I kind of value my life. It is a Proton for God's sake! But whatever, it isn't my car and I never had the thought of me driving a pink car. Too striking for my liking I guess. I headed on to have a little chit chat with my cousins inside which later on led to a really long game of UNO. It was tiring and about an hour later, my family and I headed home - ABOUT TIME -!! I was almost bored to death by the lame game of UNO.

Tres belle voiture
